Washington D.C.

In December 2021, Vision To Learn launched in our nation’s capital. Partnering with District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS), Vision To Learn’s mobile clinic will help an estimated 15,000 children attending DC Public Schools who do not have the glasses they need to see the board or read a book.

The Washington, D.C. region celebrated the launch at Stanton Elementary School. In attendance was Randi Weingarten, President of the American Federation of Teachers,  school and community leaders, and G-Wiz, the mascot for the Washington Wizards.
