Portland

Vision To Learn launched in Portland, Oregon during the Fall of 2023, with broad support from the local community. Through this new initiative, Vision To Learn will provide vision screenings, eye exams and glasses to students in across the Portland metropolitan area all at no cost to the student or their families.

Vision To Learn is working with Portland Public Schools and David Douglas School District to serve schools throughout each district. Approximately 23,000 Portland students and 93,000 students across the state of Oregon go to school every day without the glasses they need to see the board, read a book, study math, or participate in the classroom. Vision To Learn is addressing this glasses gap that exists in Oregon by during our first year of operations providing an estimated 2,000 students in Portland with the glasses they need to see clearly in school and in life.
