On December 15, 2017, Vision To Learn was invited by the Warriors Community Foundation to help Steph and Ayesha Curry bring holiday cheer to kids in need. The event—Christmas, Community and the Currys—brought 250 Oakland students and their families to the Jamtown indoor basketball facility for an evening of toys, music, and services.
Every student attending was provided a vision screening from Vision To Learn, and over two dozen were referred for an eye exam in one of two VTL clinics on site. Ayesha Curry and “Santa” Steph posed for pictures with the kids. A merry time was had by all, with some kids receiving something extra special: improved vision for the holidays and beyond.
