Each year, millions of people nationwide support outstanding nonprofit organizations through financial contributions on Giving Tuesday.
This year, Versant Health is encouraging donors to support an exceptional organization that helps kids get the eye exams and glasses they need to succeed in school and in life: Vision To Learn.
Vision To Learn uses mobile “vision vans” to bring licensed eye doctors to schools across the nation, and provides eye exams, and glasses – free of charge – to every child who needs them. Since its founding in 2012, Vision To Learn has provided over 287,000 students with eye exams, and 227,000 with glasses. Kids who receive glasses from Vision To Learn see improved math and reading grades, school engagement, and even classroom behavior. Vision To Learn provides access to basic eye care for students who would otherwise go without.
To show our support, from now through the end of December, Versant Health will provide a matching donation to gifts made to Vision To Learn through this page. That means your contribution will help even more children get the help they need.
Support provides eye exams and glasses to students in low-income communities. Contributions of any amount will help a child in need, and will positively impact a child’s life.
